In 2019, famous faces such as Kim Kardashian and the Duchess of York spoke candidly about their go-to beauty treatments. The one that seemed to stand out was the Fotona4D® Facelift; an innovative laser treatment with exceptional results.

As more and more people are opting for a non-invasive alternative to surgical facelifts and fillers, we thought we’d break down the treatment for you.
What does the treatment involve and what are the benefits?
The Fotona4D® Facelift is made up of 4 key stages, delivering both immediate and long lasting results.
Stage 1- Smoothliftin™ An intraoral treatment that uses gentle bulk-heating to stimulate collagen, helping to improve nasolabial folds and reduce lines and wrinkles around the mouth.
Stage 2- FRAC3® Rejuvenation This is a fractional treatment to target deeper imperfections such as background redness and pigmentation.
Stage 3- PIANO® Skin Tightening The laser causes bulk tissue heating safely and rapidly, which helps to lift, firm and tighten the skin.
Stage 4- SupErficial™ Light Peel Finally, the light peel removes dead skin cells, smooths uneven skin texture and reduces imperfections. Your skin will bright with a healthy glow.
Expected results:
There are some noticeable minor improvements after a week but the greater improvements are 4-6 weeks after the first procedure, improvement will build with additional treatments and even after the treatment series is completed you will continue to see ongoing improvements for up to 9-10 months due to collagen and elastin regeneration.
It is expected that the Fotona 4D™ Facelift will result in tightening and increasing volume and elasticity in the deeper skin and tissues of the lower and mid-face. Lines around the mouth and lips will all improve. The best outcome can be expected for those who have mild to moderate facial laxity.
How many treatments do I need?
For maximum results, we recommend a course of 3 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Patients often require a ‘top up’ treatment after 1-2 years.
